Hey,whats up guys?
I just picked up a black 06 cobalt ss/sc today.I freakin love this car,its so fun to drive.Im still breaking it in,but barely taking it past 3000 rpm,it has plenty of pull to it.The only options i got was the g85 package and a sunroof.Those recaro seats are really comfortable.I didnt get the onstar or the xm radio cause i dont need that crap.I got the car for $22,500.I couldnt pass it up with the 0% finance that gm was having.I have alot of plans for this car.Im gonna take the wideband out of the z and flush mount it under the radio,and im also gonna take my magnaflow muffler and put it on it.The stock exhaust is 2.5'' right before the rear axle,then it drops to 2.25 i believe.so,im just gonna have a 2.5" pipe ran over the axle,and i have myself a 2.5" exhaust.Im probably gonna get the stage 2 within a couple of months.Ill try to get some pics of it.Later.

How much $ is stage 2 and what kind of 1/4 mile times will that give you? Good choice BTW

well i ran 14.4 stock with my ss... and ran 14.7 at 101.75 with stage 2, header, cat back, 2.8 inch pulley and CAI.... i had CRAZY wheel hop in first and absolutley no traction.... my ingals torque dampner should be in today and that should help with the hop.... we will see what i run... should be 13s.... o well lol

Great job getting the G-85 package. I wish I would have had it on my ss/sc.

Once she's broken in, drive her up to 40 in second gear, hover at forty for a sec, then jab the throttle through third, that'll bring a smile to your face.

Haha,im sure it will bring a smile to my face.I love the whine of the s/c.I wanna get an intake for it,but i hear they keep throwing check engines light though.I heard the stage 2 reflash fixes that problem though.This car gets alot of attention,everyone keeps checking it out.Even the guys at my job love the car,and there not into american cars.There into bimmers and such.One guy said the recarros were more comfortable than the m3 seats.
