Oh yeah....all motor. No boost, no nitrous.

Through a Moser 9", 4.11's, and riding on sticky M/T DR's.
Figured it to around 625-635 crank HP.

What kind of mods do you have done to it? My friend claims he has over 500 hp on his without spraying, but he has a lot done. I'm only asking, because I may just go out and get me a WS6 now. I hear the are in the repair shop a lot though. Could you shed some light on this?

Stroker with a large cam and decent heads.
You can't really get a street car into the 500 RWHP area without cubes, boost, or bottle. You can make a stock cubes LS1 see those kinda numbers but it really won't be streetable. At least without help.

Mine has only caused me problems once that wasn't my fault. And it was still kinda the fault of a modification.
All I know...the SLP MAF can lean you out....bad.
Of course, the car has only 32,000 on it.
Motor has 3,000.

ling427ttvette has ridden in this car.
Going down to Bandimere next Wednesday with her. Looking for 11's. At 5800 feet.

you live in CO?!

Re: My WS.6 on the dyno

Yes.
Westminster.

Traction isn't too bad actually. Unless I am running an actual street tire. Then is barks them hard into 4th.
I use Nitto DR's as my street tires though.

I know what you mean marin8r. Weak. Thinking it needs a 150-200 shot.

nice numbers!

some questions for you
-what gear and rpm are you in and at when you trap? just wondering where those 4.11s put you.
-just a curious question. says in your profile you went with a 402, any reason why you didnt go .30 over and stretch it out to a 408?
-do you know the specs on the cam? if you dont want to make it public can you pm them to me?

thanks.

Cam is a TSP grind. 248/254 629/622 113
I didn't go 408 because it wasn't worth it to me for the extra $300.
402/408 make similiar numbers. I believe I am missing out on much. I ordered the motor while it was on sale and the 408 craze hadn't started as well.
I trap 115.55 MPH at Bandimere. 4th gear, right around 6100-6200.
I would run out of gear at sea level. Would probably have to go up a tire size.

understandable about the 402/408 (just curious ) is it an iron or aluminum block (im assuming iron)?
that's a pretty mean cam!
what are your rocker arm ratios? did you have to flycut the pistons for the cam?
thanks again...hope you dont mind the interrogation

Re: My WS.6 on the dyno

No problem.
I get it a lot.

Block = LQ9 iron
Rockers are stock. 1.7
Pistons are forged -12 Mahles. They are dished with reliefs. I have a TON of room with them.

bah, go fig (dished pistons that is). what did the mahles do to your c/r (what was it stock vs now)?
any other plans for power since you seem to have a bullet proof block?
