Ok so my brother has a 00+ grand am gt. He keeps blowing power steer pumps and is having a squeal from it now when turning hard. Is there a fix for this so he doesn't pop them so much. Anything after market that is relatively cheap? Just trying to help him out so he doesn't have to keep pouring money into it just to have it pop on him again.

kinda sounds like he might have a rack problem , if it keep blowing pumps
