ya, the guys local so im gunna drive down and go for a test drive down to the police station and get them to run everything before i even concider this. The going rate for these is closer to $13,000 so im gunna be damn sure before i get it. Might take it to a mechanic to get it checked out also.

Are you sure you want a convertible? There cool and all, but it makes modifying the vehicle harder, and it being Auto kills the fun factor and fuel mileage.
However for that price if its legit, dont hesitiate. You cna buy it than sell it for MUCH more, more than double! And buy yourself an original 6-speed hardtop/t-top car.
