JK, looks like a great starter

I know...it makes me sad a little...it's more like a 4-3-2
Mr. Goodwrench: I KNOW!!! That thing is so cool.
marin8r: Tanky kindly I think were gonna do candy apple red and some larger rims.

i thought i 442 could only be ordered with a manual.

it is alitle old for my liking (I like very early 70's) but not bad, needs alittle bit of work but its look like a solid platform

That would have been nice. It's a nice cruiser that way, but a 4 speed would have been mint.

Love that car.
And that guage is sweet.

How many steps to heaven, Doc?
...Ah, metaphysics.
yeah they came with both 4spd and auto
originally it was to be 4spd , but that changed to 400 4barrel carb , (2)dual exhaust
needs bumpers , and trim pieces , the rest of the out side didnt look to bad
pretty clean car
looks very good my brother has a 66 GTO
i thought you had the gto geeds?

Yeah...bumpers need to be straightened and re-chromed...trim piece is in the back seat of the car.
One of the nightmares though is that on the passenger side, the idiots decided to POP RIVET the trim on...I have no idea how we're going to get that off (short of having the body shop cut it out)...should be interesting

Looks like you got a good deal. Is everything original? motor, trans, red on red combo?
That vacuum gauge is rare they were an option for 442's and starfires for 2 years I think.(My friend has an nos one still in the box and has been offered over a grand for it). I've seen a few 65 gto's with them as well. It basically checks your gas mileage based on the vacuum of the motor or something.... Does yours work?
I would just drill the rivets out to get the trim off. It sucks that he trim piece is probably junk now though.
I love it!! Awesome car. The will always be a soft spot in my heart for Olds.

As far as I know everything matches. And the gauge works
I've been looking around for trim pieces and for some interior pieces...the dash is pretty much junk...but I think I've found a site to get it repaired
I'm not all that informed on big block carb'd motors. I was wondering if anyone has some diecent forums to go on.
I was also thinking it would be cool to get a dual quad intake manifold like this
just for some extra show and the increased fuel into the motor...BUT...I don't know how that would affect engine performance (i.e. to much fuel=cylinder gets to rich and something goes horribly wrong)
Thanks for the support guys

Good to find other fans

I like it. Something out of the norm. Good choice.
