I call it a kit car.
Which I would call rice.
Did nothing for performance....modded for looks.
A little rice isn't
always a bad thing.
I am more than happy to admit I have ricey things done to my car. Blacked out corners, embroidered headrests, white gauges...

Some of the fastest cars look like ricers.
Just because it could be fast doesn't take away from the fact that it is riced out.
Rice is rice...fast or slow.
Shut up Ling.

What you know about Street Racing anyways? Only what Fast & Furious taught us....
SO EVERYTHING!
Fino isn't my style, I like the Finale personally.
Luos: Question then, what would you call non-rice? By the way you're going on, it sounds like anything not as factory is rice, but if you take the analogy further, what's the use in having body panels, a full windshield or doors?
The word RICE means nothing other than a grain food... If you don't like the aesthetic, say so. Calling it rice is like a tuner calling your F-bod a hick-mobile. It's uninformed, disrespectful and derrogitory without reason.
Either way, the same place that sells those re-bodies is the same that offers a v8 kit for the Fieros... add a rear anti-sway bar and you're golden.

I am done with this thread after this post, because it is all opinion based anyways.
Doors, windshields, glass all serve a purpose. That is obviously going further than intended.
But yes, anything not factory that does NOT add performance is rice to me. Just my opinion.
As mentioned, ricey isn't always bad. Like I said before, there are things I have done to my Trans Am that I consider ricey but tasteful.
I am kinda hard line with this is all.
Take it how you want.

funny how you're completely contradicting yourself there.
anywho... i think that fiero looks pretty damn good.
It acutally DOES add performance...
There are brake ducts, engine air ducts and there is also an air pass through on the hood so the rad works more efficiently... Not to mention the fact that the headlights are no longer flip-up, thus disrupting the airflow less.
The Spoiler is also functional (though most people don't need an airfoil till they get to plaid... ) and the engine bay has more ventillation as well.

How to tell if your a ricer:
Its a simple math problem really
$ spent on exterior / $ spent on car + $ spent on performance = Then put it into a decimal. If your number is a 1 or up your most likely a ricer.
So 100$ wing over/ $5000 supercharger would be 1/50 = .02 Or not a Ricer.
i wrote that myself a few years ago
-Borsty
yes V8archie, ive used to scour that site. i still would like to find an itact fiero to drop a built SBC into.
