Helps to know that the car is an n-body, sharing its platform with the Grand Am and old Malibu, among others.

Good luck with the search!

I too am on the aleromod.com i agree there is a small group that knows what is going on but there are a bunch like me that are adding alot of input on upgrades and gettign a ton of info on build ups and upgrades for the three different engine platforms for the Alero.
My 2.4 is being upgraded withh all the performance parts i can scrap together. Its getting a turbo, the "secret cams" (not really secret), bored over .020, eagle h-rods, weisco pistons, a multi layered gasket for the boost, blue printed and balanced crank, HP tuner ftw, and many other goodies. Alot of good advice came from aleromod.com but im searching the jbody forum for advice on the motor and the tuner. Not to many people on Aleromod.com have used the HP tuner yet so stick to this site for that help. The search button is your friend... use it well

I agree...for the most part-those sites are pretty useless,,unless I need a wing.

As far as Aleros...I prefer the four-bangers...The 6s tend to have issues....

Though I like the looks of the cars...
