what size does the 04 cavalier take for the exterior bulbs

exterior bulbs??? there are a lot of those specify which one; headlight, turn signal, foglight, brakelight, license plate light

If you're talking about the headlights, it's H11 for dims and H9 for brights, just like my GTO. They are kind of a pain to find, and more expensive than the 9005, 9006, etc. bulbs like Cavys have.. Oh yeah and Sylvania doesn't make them.

Cavaliers have never take H11 and H9 bulbs. They use 9007 for high and lows. The H11 and H9 are for the sunfires!

Check out this site. Put in model and year.
