Two Birds, one Stone

Hey guys, got a quick question for ya. My birthday is coming around and people are asking me for what I want. Sure, great thing for this day and age, and for Cavi, lol. I was wondering about two things...

Headlights: I've heard a lot of people say good things about the Sylvania Silverstars. I've never seen them on a car, but I've seen them for sale. How do they look? Are they just brighter white, or are they bluish? I wanted to go after market considering I custom made my clear corners and what not. I'd just like something that would "stand out from the rest".

LED Underglows: Yea, I was going to go Streetglow or something, but I don't feel like having someone spend THAT much money on something I'll barely use. I've read great things about the LED underbody kits. Its something I'll use here and there and will get the point across. Does anyone here have these? I ran a search for pics but I couldn't find any.

So yea, as you can tell, these are two things being offered to me. I'm happy as hell about it obviously, but I'd just like first-hand expieriance with them either it be pics or people that actually have them.

Thanks,

I have the Sylvania's on my car, and they are definitely a step up from the stock bulbs. I had a StreetGlow Gold Series neon kit for a while, and didn't have a single problem with them.

The Silverstars are awesome! My passenger side bulb went loose, and melted itself to the headlight housing (it was dark and I was tired when I changed them, probably didn't tighten it enough)... so I have a SIlverstar in the driver's side headlight and a Cool Blue in teh passenger side... you can DEFINATELY tell the difference...

Awesome, so the Silverstars are a good idea. I take it they are just a brighter white, or do they have any tint to them?

They're better then stock bulbs thats for sure. But if you want bright I mean real bright
try some PIAA bulbs. They do cost more and ok sure they may not be exactly street legal but they are reallll nice. They come in colors too I got orenge ones in my car.
Oh and btw happy birthday!

PIAA bulbs? Hmmmm, I might look into those. I'm going for a blue/black color scheme on my car, and the blue tinted headlights would look good, though bright white does the trick too.

Thanks for the happy b-day Though it isn't until the 20th

Heres a pic comparing stock bulbs to the silverstars. Silverstars on the left.

As for PIAA bulbs,I had them on my old car for over a year and still have 1 on my car now (to compare between them and silverstars) and the piaa is brighter and more whiter. They do cost a bit more but from my experience they're better than the silverstars (which by no means are a bad choice, they're great as well).

How much more for the PIAA? I know the Silverstars run about $40.

Try around $80.00 and up depends on what color you get cause some aren't sold localy so you may have to order from over seas. The only place I could find orenge bulbs was Japan. If anyone knows where to find these localy ( In the US ) PLEASE let me know.
