Hey Everyone,
Im looking to swap some kind of new headlights in my 98 sunfire. Im just wondering if there are any certain ones out there that line up good with the hood. Im looking to fiberglass or cut whatever i have to, but just looking for something that already pretty much aligns with the hood.
Any idea, please let me know.
there are no after market headlights for sunfire. you have to make them. either that or there are some people on the org that will make them but it will run you about 350
IZN TRBL made these for me
im not talking about those. Im talking about like swapping some other manfucture lights on my car. Heres a sample. And ill just make them fit by cutting or adding fiberglass to my body kit and aftermarket fenders.
hell bro just buy them and make your own fiberglass lights because that is what im going to do since that what whiteboy and IZN TRBL does.

head light conversion are ALOT! of work. its not just fiberglassing and cutting. you have to reshape everything.
yeah i figured that. Ive done all the body work from repairing my body kit to molding eyelids on my cf hood, to molding my whole body kit, so im figuring i will have to reshape everything just have to find somethign similiar.
Im thinking those lights above will fit pretty good in the spot and i will only have to reshape to a minimum. At least i hope.
its not that easy. your gonna have to cut into your fender, weld new metal to your fender and shape it to the light. your gonna have to cut your rad support and all. its a mess. its nothin' like fiberglassing and molding
well i got z3 fenders that are fiberglass so how would i have to metal to that.
CAN you even metal to fiberglass. I doubt thats possible. So ask questions before saying something.
@!#$ you. im sitting here tryin' to help you and letting you know its not all just fiberglassing to get it to work. you wanna be a dick then fine. go head and @!#$ it up. you have no clue what your doing or else you wouldnt ask what is needed. no wonder the org is going to @!#$
no you just think you know everything i have on my car. How would i have to cut my metal fenders when i have fiberglass fenders and a cf hood and a fiberglass bumper.
ITS ALL FIBERGLASS.
o im sorry i didnt study your profile before hand. that still doesnt change the fact you have to fab up something to hold the lights and re fab your rad support to get it all to work. i dont think you understand that you have to modify more than just your fenders, hood and bumper. how are you gonna attach it? you have to fab you brackets to get it to work, but then again you mr. fiberglass im sure you can figure it out
im sure i can figure out how to mount it. I will build some fiberglass brackets, there just as strong or stronger as the plastic brackets so whats the difference.
well i just bought these so ill make sure i contact you first when i get them all installed.
alright go head, take some pics of the fiberglass wire harness your gonna make too
dude your stupid. How can you make a fiberglass harness. There all plastic from what i know.
wow do i even have to explain the simplest jokes to you? please post pics when this is done, id love to see it
actually all he would have to do is find a way to cut off the brackets and find the right way and position to glass it on to the new headlight may it look purrrrdy

then it would mount up like a stock one would as far as the harness just go to a scrap yard and find a harness for the type of car the headlights go with change the harness then the rest would be all body fab

thanks twizted. Im glad you understand what im talking about. I guess no one else on the org knows.
he right about the harness, you can do it that way but you still have to wire it in. as for cutting the bracket yea, you can do that but its not like the bracket for your car. you can get it sit flush w/ your rad support but then its not gonna sit flush w/ the back of the light. either way your have to rework your rad support, or customize the back of the headlight housing. this is pointless tryin' to fight w/ you over this. well you got the lights ordered so when you get down to it, you'll know what i mean.

ITS ALL FIBERGLASS..
While I know nothing about the headlight aspect of fabrication, I can speak for the tail lights. Currently, I am constructing a custom set of tails. I have about $400 and change into it and still have yet to finalize construction. Why? Because there are no qualty aftermarket tails for Fire coupes. I've had to get 4 driver's tails due to minor f-ups along the way. That and the dog got hold of one... don't ask.
One miscut in your fender and you're looking at either getting a new fender or patching it up. Either way, you'll need to paint it. Mess up on the hood and there's $500 down the drain. Better make damn sure you measure 8 times, cut once otherwise your $70 headlights will cost you big. I'd rather not take that risk and buy a
quality product from either IZN or WhiteBoy.
GOD DAMN!! Bagged Cavy lay off the f*ckin NyQuil-Day-Quil! F*CK !!!!!!
i believe the original question was:
"just wondering if there are any certain ones out there that line up good with the hood?"

Well if i miscut my fender, then i will fix it. Right now my current car is in primer anyways. Im just finishing molding my whole body kit now and my new molded taillights that i did. Im going to paint my car in my garage once i finish doing everything i want. Im customizing my blitz bumper right now, making it unique. Im just doing everything i want on my car before i paint it. I painted my car last night and found out i wanted to mold my body kit so now im painting it again. Im hoping this will be the last paint job for a few years. This is why i want to put projectors on now so i wont have to do it again later.
