Safe to use for washing???
Friday, December 30, 2005 10:24 AM
I bought one of those brushes you can hook a hose up to for washing a vehicle. As long as it's nice and soft, it won't hurt anything to use it will it?

I would rather not try washing by hand (frostbite hurts), so I thought this might be a faster, safer alternative (at least as far as my health is concerned).

Any reason I can't use it?

thanks

Well I use one my wife got me when I bought my car. Going on 3 years now and I have no issues with mine.

Tho if it ices up it could be a problem. Might I recomend just takeing it to one of those self serve car washes and just use the presurized water and soap. This way nothing comes in contact that may scratch.

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

unless you have warm water comming out of the hose or its a warmer day i wouldnt use it. ice can be as bad as metal on the paint.

If u have to do it outside make sure u have that ^^

Now i just take mine into the shop washbay and use warm water with it.. Works great.. dont have to use soap.. just water and scrub and it gets all that salt shet off and looks perty. but i also make sure to take the hose off and spray into the wheel well and stuff to get any salt or dirt out of there also.
