Im eventually going to go to an 04 sunfire rear end, I believe the rear quarters are the same from 99 to 04. and the tails are different, but is the whole trunk set up different or is it just the back cover on the trunk lid that i would need? Also would the Wings West Shark Fin Spoiler for the 99 cavi fit the sunfire trunk without modding it?

I looked at it once... and if I recall correctly.... the trunk lid and rear sheet metal was in fact the same 95-05, but the tail lights, rear cover, bumper, etc was different. So you could swap the stuff and retail the same lid.

DropTop Paul would be an ideal person to ask... look for his registry. He swapped the 03-05 stuff onto a 95-99 something convertible...

Yep everything just swaps right over....you need the applique (piece on the trunk), tails, and rear bumper.

yup, pretty easy swap, everything bolts right up.

also, if you wanna save some money, get a trunk panel from a salvage yard. you can get one for a heck of a lot cheaper than through a dealership (i got 2 for less than $50 each). http://www.car-parts.com just search for tail lights, it's listed under "2 Dr, lid mtd".
