will a 2000 boot (what covers your top) fit on a 97 cavalier?
I think the 2000 is a one piece boot. On a '97 there is a vinyl center piece that is attached to the area right behind the rear seat.
HOWEVER if you remove the center piece you CAN use the one piece boot.
If you need one let me know...

thanks john for the help, i seen one on ebay for 14.99 with 25$ shipping, so i bidded up to $45 on it. So far im winning the bid, and it said it was a leather convertible cover for a 2000 z24. So i just assumed that it would work???
It'll work. If you don't win let me know I have a black one...

I knew there was something I forget to get from you Gary... Anyways, just listen to him on the subject and good luck with the boot.

I bought my convertible with out the boot supplied. Dude prolly kept it and sold it on ebay, i was new to convertibles and didn't even think about it till now, but i'm pretty sure its nowhere in the car. I have a 2000 sunfire. Would you wanna get rid of yours, or sell it. or point me in the right direction to find one?
