Yeah it's hard to tell which is brighter from those photos... The problem is that the difference in reflector design could have caused more light to hit the camera between the two cars... Best way to test/tell is to take a photo of a wall that both cars are shining at from the same distance and compare that... but even that isn't a perfect comparison as again headlight angle, reflector design and even lens clarity can affect the perceived output.

Knowledge about everything and yet an expert of nothing!!
Jack of all trades.
the fact its 2 cars plays a big roll in the difference im sure.. to get a honest compare.. go buy a set of each or if he has the same size bulb as u, take one of his out. then put on nighthawk and one silverstar in each headlight and take pics..
yea put one in each headlight and stand in the middle and take a pic

I'm not planning on taking another photo, or switching bulbs around. It's just for the colour reference. Geez...
lol u tried atleast haha. but yeah i see what ur saying u can even see on the road infront of the saturn the road has the blue tint on it over the nighthawks look more just white
My silverstars dont look nearly that blue. Is there more than one kind of silverstar bulb?
Nope just the one....could vary by alot of things, measures taken during install, clarity of lense, hell Im sure even the weather could play a role (humidity, etc)...

Same here, actually. My Silverstars are still a near 'yellow' color but they're a bit brighter than factory lights. Strange.

Blown.
None of the bulbs are brighter.
The bulb that would be brighter would be whatever one would have more voltage to it at the time.
If they are both 9004 bulbs, they are rated for the same wattage and same lumen output, which is roughly 700 low lumens/1200 lumens high.
They just appear brighter because of the color they output.
The silverstars look much brighter, aswell the ground infront of the Saturn apears to be more lit up than in front of the Cavy.
