Hey, can someone post a picture of there carbon fiber tail lights on their car from e-bay if anyone here has a set.
I am wantting to see what they look like and how dark they are, i am trying to decide between the cf and black lights

Cool i like them on his color car thnaks you MANTA Z; sweet looking cavy as well.; still its hard to tell how drak they look, i just dont want the cf tails if they are more grey; i want a nice dark black, because i am going to have the cf bezel; and that is black.
Any pics of the black tails up close???

1st of all fake carbon fiber = not cool, 2nd of all CF filler piece is not black, its carbon fiber, 3rd all altezza ricer lights look bad fimnd some 00-02 stock tails or yota tails, and last real cf filler piece + fake carbon fiber tails sitting righting up next up = me rear ending you if I ever see the car in person just out of spite for the most hideous combo EVER.

I understand where you are coming from, i dont like fake cf either; i have a real cf hood, cf fuel door, reservoir cover, and fuse cover; all real; and soon i will have a real cf bezel.
Well what i meant when i said black, was that my hood does look nice and dark at certain angles, or depends on the light etc...... same with fuel door; i just thought cf tails would match the cf bezel; but i now think i will go with the black tails next to the cf bezel; josh has that combo and it looks sweet; would this be good darkstars; hey at least i will never get rear ended right,lol

the cf tails wont match the cf bezzle. I don't think you realize how bad they look till you have them in your hand, they don't even resemble carbon fiber. Its more of a dark gryish/black plastic that they paint over with a ton of little light gray boxes.... except the pattern is all @!#$ up, its not even, it not symetrical, its not even stright. I bought them back in the day cause I was hoping for actually carbon fiber lights, I ended up putting them on and taking them off same day, they look horrible. Either way they look like ass but with real carbon fiber on the car it just makes the fake look so much worse
personaly i dont like the "CF" style tails , i got the black tails for my 03 cav and they look really nice , also my car is red so the black only makes it better . my question is what color is your car ? you wanna get something that will go with the color .

Hey, my car is aqua; like i said i have a cf hood, fuel door, and will have the bezel; so i am kind of going with a cf/black theme now since i have tinted windows as well; and someday i want black or a drak rim; so black tails will be my choice now; and thats why i was kind of looking to see what the cf tails looked like; i figured they were pretty cheezy looking; cf weave is not staright or nothing; so i guess they areb a little too fake

i was gonna do the CF tails till i saw the black ones , plus i like the way red and black go together , the teal color would look pretty good with black tails

I thank you; and a part of me is a little ricy; so i have to have altezzas, my car is less ricy then it was; i should show you a pic of the decals i just removed last weekend, she is a little cleaner now,lol

I do agree though with the filler piece. The filler piece does look cool (too expensive for something that doesn't even bolt up). The filler and the tails just wouldn't match. The CF tails do look really out of place. You'd figure for what they want for aftermarket tails, that they'd atleast do a CF cover on the plastic to make it look good, lol. I like simple black tails, or the altezzas.
all ryan is trying to say is the cf looks like crap and not worth the money. he isnt telling him he has to buy these and not them. hes just saying from personal experence that they are crap.

Drakstars did help me, stared me away from fake carbon; but i will be getting black tails; i really like them; just going to wait for a bit , my cf bezel should be here in two weeks.

I had the same tails, carbon fibre.
first of all, they came cracked. second, like darkstars i was hoping to actually get cf, but its just the fakiest fake carbon fiber. like those sticker carbon fiber sh!t you find at autozone/advanced auto parts/pep boys
stick with either the yota tails or the stockers
