I started to fit the bodykit just before winter everything is going well. More pics will be added as soon as spring rolls around . I have everything primed and ready for paint. I think it looks ok, but thats just me...
as you see in the pic , my girl friends cats like to walk all over my car with their dirty feet!!!!!
is that an aerogear kit, or just a knock off? either way that does look like it fits well. it feels good doing it yourself, too, doesnt it?

coming back in 2008...
doing things yourself is always rewarding, everything is a learning process
thats one of the sweeter kits out there for the fire crowd
like tabs said, lookin like its fits pretty well
i look forward to painted pics
be acouple months for painted pics, my kit is at my girlfriends in storage and she lives in the states lol
wow nice, my skirts were alittle pain, but fiberglass can always be cut and reformed!.
I shaved the sidemarkers on the back and molded in some diff ones from a bmw
I think you scared him, Ben.

Your fight begins tonight.
I might be changing the bmw sidemarkers to a diff style but we'll see. I've been looking around and seen alot better looking ones.
Every kit that I see looks like its missing the piece that would go on the bottom of the door.
Dont get me wront they look sweet, just missing the door pieces.
Is there any kits that use door pieces?
01 cav w/01 3400 gam gt 4t45e
you mean the side moldings? I think factory side moldings are horrible but thats just me
yeah they vibrate cause grooves in the paint and water settles there and starts to rust. its soooooo stupid
Type J side skirts have the door strikes and i think they look nice

are you talking about for the drift kit or the aerogear kit? cause the aerogear looks fine. and they do make door skins for the drift kits, but good luck finding them cause i think they might have discontinued them.

I am thinking of modifing my side skirts, I don't really like how skirts go up the body, So I might be shaving them down.Wonder hows that gonna look
post some pics of the rear of that kit!!

I can find something wrong with every piece of your kit, so I wouldn't exactly call that a good fit. Those kits were never a good fit. I was one of the first to have the Xplozion kit (I got mine about the same time as John Piparo), and ended up scrapping mine because I just wasn't happy with how it looked.
I can't really tell much from the original poster's picture, but from that angle his looks to fit a lot better than most.

thanks tips. i can spot at least ten things wrong with each part of the kit. but for fiber glass its fit pretty damn well.
every kit has it flaws nothings perfect
