Soon I will be getting my windows tinted and Im unsure of what percentage i would like to go with, so this is where I ask for your help guys. Im thinking either 15 or 20% on the quarter glass and doors and 5% on the rear because the tint shop in town only does 5% on rears. Could you guys post pics of your tint and state what percent you have. I would sure appreciate it, and I searched but didnt find a lot of different angles of pictures to show the tunneling effects of the tint. Thanks in advance for any help!

Here's a picture of what 20% looks like on the rear qrtrs... I also got 20% on my rear window (I find 5% distorts the view to much)... also 0% on the fronts since it's illegal in my province and is just a reason for a cop to pull you over...

Also just a side note.... The Door has been fixed and the front fender has been cleared... the rear qrtr is being fixed asap

15% on front windows 5% on quarters and the rear

Extremely dark windows = UNWANTED ATTENTION


Mine (cavy) are 35% on the sides and 20% on the Rear window only.

My G/F's (I tinted this car) 20% on all sides and the Rear.

Her car is ALOT darker than mine. I was learning how to tint and 20% is all I had. Plus I like it a little darker on the lighter colored cars.

5% is pretty much wanting to be pulled over and get harrassed. Look at the pic I posted. Look how much darker 20% is than my 35%. The 5% will be that much darker than the 20%

that looks pretty dark for 18%... never knew there was that much difference between 20% and 18%

Thats how I roll too....no pics with me though. It is highly illegal in PA, but I do it anyways (of course I am proctically an old man, and no one pulls me over for stupid crap like that anymore). If you aren't driving like an a$$, they tend to leave you alone.

I heard PA is tough, but I don't drive like a moron. I got pulled once for my plate sticker and cop never said a word about my windows. And I've never been pulled for my tint.
