Alright so im having problems with putting the 03 base bumper on my 95-99 cavalier. I have the bumper screwed into my fenders but what actaully keeps the middle front part up? Its kinda hard to explain so once my camera gets done charging ill post some pics. I have everything needed for the swap except paint and i just threw everything on for a test fit when i realized this. Any kind of info would be nice. Thanks.
The tabs go to the crush guard and the holes are suppose to have "L" brackets on them that bolt to the metal bumper.
Yep, you need the crush guard
ur bowtie strip on the bumper comes off so u can get to those screw holes and there are 2 l brackets that bolt on to ur impact bar to screw ur bumper to, and the 2 tabs that are lower use plastic push pins that go to the bottom of the crush pad.
