I just flushed my cooling system and replaced the ect sensor now the temp gauge is not working, the problem is I start the car and it idles normal, then it starts idling hard after a minute or so and the gauge starts working and the idle goes back down. Any idea what this could be or how to fix it?? Thanks!!
Maybee you bought a faulty sensor. Why did you replace it in the first place? Where you having problems before you replaced it?
im guess is when you flushed it, air got in.
I was having problems with the sensor before i replaced it,
post here then this started happening, now its back to the way it was. If I did get air in it how would I bleed the cooling system to get the air out?
Sorry I found how to do it, just one more question, where is the valve located at? There is only a pictue of it in the haynes manual, but no description where to find it. Thanks!
