My 2005 Cavalier (5 Spd) seems to be cycling the A/C Clutch. I know there are at least three(?) switches that control the A/C in the car.
1. A/C Clutch Cycling
2. A/C Relay
3. Pressure Switch
It blows cold air. So, I THINK that the system is fully charged. (I don't have gauges to check) This thing is constantly cycling, and sometimes when I am at a light for awhile, there is no cold air at all. Any kind of acceleration is a nightmare, because the clutch is cycling so much. I had hoped that the A/C Relay was at fault, but the guy at AutoZone told me that there was no way that it could be that if the A/C was working at all.
Do we have any A/C Guru's on the forum that can at least point me in the right direction? AutoZone does not sell the Pressure switch or the A/C Clutch Cycling switch. They say that they are dealer only parts. Which leads me to believe that they could be expensive???
Thanks,

If your low on refrigerant it will cause the clutch to cycle. I would start by getting the system recharged.
j's only use 1 switch
so your constant cycling and not cooling at a light means your system is low
I wasnt sure about the specifics of the J's A/C system.
Sounds good! I have that checked!
Thanks,
