What attaches to the inside of the intake manifold. its held in by 2 bolts underneath the throtlebody. i think it might be a sensor but not sure.

I believe you are referring to the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor.
are you talking about the rectangular block with a small hose coming our of it?
im not sure my motor has been torn apart for about 3 years. most oof the stuff has been thrown away. its just a hole on the back side of the intake manifold.
