can anyone on here please tell he how much voltage should be going to the fuel pump when you first turn the key. ( first few seconds to prime the pump)
AND how much voltage should be going to the pump while you are cranking the engine (tryung to start it)?
ive replace my fuel pump once already, the new one quick working in only 9 days.
I took it out and hooked it directly to a battery and it worked fine. but it does not work while it is connected to the car.
I know its getting about 9.6 volts while cranking the engine. not sure how much while priming, will have to check it.
any help will be much appreciated thanks.

Should be getting 12 volts to the fuel pump or very close to it depending on the condition of the battery when you are doing either of the things you mentioned . Have you tried swapping the fuel pump relay to see if it does better .
You can swap the fuel pump relay with your A/C relay . They are identical and either one will plug into the others hookup . It is possible that it may not be getting a good connnection causing voltage drop . Also you may check the connection for the power distribution box in the engine bay ( driver side between air cleaner and fender well ) . You will see a wire that comes from the battery to the power distribution box ( large red wire ) . Check and make sure it is tight a the connector or if it is corroded .
Also if you have 12 volts coming from the relay then check at the fuel pump connector for the same voltage .
