I don't know about the Redline product, but I do know that the Royal Purple (Purple Ice) is a big JOKE. I am thinking about draining my coolant and trying the redline stuff.
if you use it , and you except to see the temp drop 20-30 degrees , you wont
i have the redline in my 68 elco , and with the green coolant it lasted alot longer than 2years , i think i got about 6 years from the green before it started breaking down , the temp stayed in the same range as before , but when it was hotter outside , the temp gauge didnt go up like it had before , and the same with it sitting in traffic , the temp stayed alot more stable

My experience has been similar, on the guage you don't notice much difference, except the temp doesn't creep up as fast when in traffic, and it takes longer to warm up in winter. However, it did help me get rid of 5-6 degrees of knock retard as it does a good job of getting heat out of the head, reducing hotspots that cause detonation.
