hey... how many quarts of oil do i need for a 90 sunbird 2L? and what type of coolant ... do you have to use that dexcool @!#$? or can i just use regular antifreeze?

you cant use Dexcool, Green Antifreeze or Universal. I think my 94 (2.0 as well) took about 4 to fill it up without filter, which takes about 1/4 qt or so..

so i should just use regular green @!#$??

Dex cool cant mix with the normal green, Id wanna say Dexcool was introduced in 1996, and if you mix the two, they turn into a peanut butter mixture, and doesnt look pretty (seen it in a camaro once, didnt look too good)..

so i shouldnt use dexcool? what's in there now appears to be the green stuff.

DO NOT USE DEXCOOL! you should use the normal GREEN stuff for your application.Dexcool was put in cars 95 and newer.Besides most manufactures are going back to the normal ethanal glycol antifreeze anyway,it's cheaper and just as effec and not prone to some of the issues that have come about with dexcool.Go to walmart and buy the super tech thats what I run and KNOW that there are are two or three manufactures for antifreeze and works just as good as prestone,And I do like prestone and have used it in the past,but due to cost the super tech (walmart brand) is awesome.
