Hi Guys
I want to know what is the pros and the cons of a supercharger or a turbo on a 2.2 and also I want to know how much is it going to cost me to do a turbo setup for my 2.2? I know rsmracing haves a supercharger for 3500.00 so I want to know what the pros and the cons of both and the cost for a turbo setup. Thanks Tim

well you can build a turbo kit for cheaper, but you are limited by your fuel system unless you work out an extra injector controller, convert your fuel rail for top feed injectors, or swap on the 2200 head and intake manifold / fuel rail. you can really only run 6 - 7 psi on that stock bottom end / fuel system

turbo... don't bother with the vortech s/c's... for the kind of money that a setup like that runs, you can build yourself a good turbo kit for half the price, and it will be a lot faster.

Can u just swap head and tb intake from a 2200 to a 2.2 without problems?

I actually agree on that...

The RSM kits are nice but just way too overpriced and a hassle to deal with because I believe you can only deal with RSM themselves as far as installing a brand new kit (not sure if that's true).

If only it were that easy man. Sorry to say, no it's not. Hence the reason I am building a 2200 over another 2.2 OHV
