I don't know what im missing here. Is the Dc Sports Setup for the Ecotec a 1 or 2 Piece set? All I have is the Header. Exhaust shops are Trying to Charge me $150 to make this because of having to create the Flange. If anybody has Pics of the Dc Sports Header (actual pics) I would really Appreciate it!
Also If anyone knows where I could get the second piece I will hook them up-
Thanks
The DC Sports setup is only the header, you'll have to have an exhaust shop fab up a flanged pipe to connect it to your cat.
If thats the case get the Weapon R
It sounds to me like he already bought it. That sucks that its only the header, and for $450? Thats a damn rip-off and all your paying for is the name.

Yep, I am very happy with my pacesetter for half the cost and all the parts to install it!

^^^same here, but I have the 2200, and not the Eco. I was able to buy my header, cat, resonator, and muffler for what he paid for that header.

450!1!!!1
You can pick them up daily on ebay for like 360 shipped
360 is still too much if its not everything needed for the install... the ceramic pacesetter is cheaper than that.

This one alright mods?
that last one wasnt half as bad as others I've seen on here...
i got my pacesetter with everythign for $180 shipped new

The one, the only, ME.

I agree but I'd rather have a good 4-2-1 than a mild steel 4-1
It depend if you want low end power or high end
The 2.2 Ecotec DCSports header is a 4 to 1 style. It Goes from the cylinder head to the stock flange that the flex pipe is connected to. The header tubes are only about 16 inches long. There was a post a while back with a picture.
We just got in a bunch of 2.2 ecotec and 1998 - 02 2.2 ohv ceramic headers, and we have all painted headers in stock for anyone interested in those.

the dc sport eco header bolts to the stock don pipe , there is 1 on my g/fs cav
no cutting , no custom fabrication required
it's overpriced and for a header... it's an incomplete waste of money. sorry you already bought it.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

LOL yeah it's mine - I figure i get another header weapon r, pacesetter for $270 or whatever it is and I save myself the $190 for the custom downpipe. I only had the dc sports header on the car for a few weeks. The car isin't my daily driver so it has limited miles on it.
So for the double post but which is better Pace Setter or Weapon R? Any fitment issues? Thanks
Even though I don't have an Ecotec, I can vouch for the fitment of the Pacesetter header. Mine fit perfectly on my 2200. I would suggest getting the armor-coated version if you do go with Pacesetter. I've also heard good things about the Weapon R header. I know that NJHK has one, so maybe he'll post here and give his opinion. The Weapon R is Stainless Steel, which is nice and looks purrrrty.
i dont like my weapon r...just waiting for boost so i can redo the exhaust

I love my pacesetter, great power, sound, looks and fitment. I like the 4-1 style better anyway.

Does the 4-2-1 style give low end power or high end?
