The Ecotec has provisions for piston oilers to be installed to spray oil at the underside of the piston crown. There are 4 small mounting pads cast into the main oil galley on the side of the cylinders.
Obviously you would drill into the main galley at these pads, and next to it tap a hole for a screw to mount the piston oiler.
Problem is, I don't have the foggiest of where I could get piston oilers made specifically for the Eco. I will probably have to adapt ones from another engine such as the Mitsu 4AGE or the SRT-4 engine and use those, but if any one has any info I would love to know.
Thanks

You can use the nozzles from SAAB 9-3 2002->.
They´re std in the L850.

A more accurate observation has never been typed. These should be the starting points before any serious performance modification. What's the point of making a serious performer if you can't control it's power?
the 2.0 and 2.4 both have oil squiters
Thank you guys, that helps very much!

Did you find a place online to buy em directly from GM? I may just look around junkyards and ebay....cause 50 bucks a pop is pricey.

They are OEM parts so they should work beautifully. I am gonna call them tomorrow morning before work to see what they think. Ill let ya know what's going on.
