considering a hedder for my 04 cavy - ecotec - any suggestions, the ones i see out there...hard to see if it comes with a downpipe. i here good things about a ceramic coat hedder from them, but dont know about downpipe....also anybody know about performance gains and increased noise with a hedder.
For one its header and the only one that doesn't have the b pipe or downpipe is the dc sport. I have the pacesetter and love it. Its a 4-1 header which normally makes more power up top vs the 4-2-1 style like rk sport which makes more down low. HP gains are different for each car and depends on what else is done to it. Goodluck.

Pacesetter ceramic is the best performance for the dollar in headers. I would only recommend the ceramic style however.

^^ Werd. Pacesetter ceramic coated is best bang for buck. Just make sure and don't use the gasket they send you. Go to a parts store and get a brand new Felpro gasket.

^^^ or reuse the stock metal gskt.
i don't see it as a wise idea to reuse any gasket that was holding something to the head.

I reused mine. It looked fine with 20000 miles on it and I have never had a problem. I guess if you have enough miles tho, its so cheap just to buy a new one.
