Those a/f ratio gauges are just give little light shows. The only real way to tell what your a/f ratio is is through a wideband.

Looking at your profile, you don't need one just yet.

well the only reason i ask is b/c i was wondering if i needed the module type to keep the stock ecu from kicking codes and i wondering if i need the dual channel b/c the 03+ cavys have two O2 sensors, one before and one after the cat, and Mr. Adam i DO NEED one b/c i cant find a shop aroung here to properly tune the fuel curve on my safc 2, not to mention with an Air/fuel gauge, i can do it my self and have a much better idea of how my engine is doin.(no disrespect)

You won't be able to use the UEGO to simulate the O2 sensor if thats what your asking, you will need to weld in a second bung and use it for the wideband, then keep the stock sensor for the ecu.

I dont understand what you're saying but if you are trying to replace your stock 02 sensors with that of a wideband it will not work, i think

The point of me saying you don't need one is because of the modifications you have. You have nothing to really alter your fuel consumption or that would make your computer run too rich or too lean. An intake will barely give you a power difference so changing your fuel consumption is out of the picture.

By the way, I know this because I have the same year motor as you and computer as you so I know how the ECOTEC motor and computer acts under each modification. I did the bolt on thing (basically every bolt on you can think of) and know WHEN you'll need to worry about fuel. You have ways to go...
