Sunfire Problems
Thursday, February 16, 2006 10:09 PM
I have a 2.2 '01 Sunfire and it is working great. But today I got my cold air intake which goes behind the battery and thru the holeand near the fog light. To do this I had to remove the washer fluid container and disconet a sensore that goes into the washer fluid motor and I think I connect it back good. So when I turn on my car almost all the symbols of warning inside the car turned on the theft system, service, ABS, track off and I was trying to turn it on and off but it would not do anything, and when I turned on the air conditioner it blew hot air and I had it on all the way and it was blowing air slowly. THe car ran great but the sensors where all screwed up. Another thing was that when I turned on the whipers even at the top speed they ran slowly on the glass. I checked the flowmeter and it was connected. I dont know what is going on with my car. Can you gyus give me some tips on what to check or if you think you know what is going on with it. Sorry for the long post I just wanted to gie the whole desccription. Thanks and God Bless.

I personally have no idea what the problem could be, but if the compartment is anything like the 2.4, thers a fuse panel beside the battery (maybe not on the 2.2) not if there is one you may have knocked a plug out or knocket it around a bit, I think thats where allt he relays for the wipers and A/C are sop that would make sence, but again just a guess.

I fixed the problem I just had to reset the computer by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. It is all good now and thanks for the advice.
