I still haven't gotten the remote start feature of my autopage alarm working because i can't get a real answer from anyone.People say violet, white are white are pink.
I thought i would post this here because you guys have probly put in Tachs on 2.4's etc
If you could please tell me what colour wire and where it is that would be great

It's def the pink wire in the IDI harness. You may need to use a tach adapter to make it work with your remote start though. MSD sells what's called the "tach driver" and it's about $50 give or take a few bucks depending on where you get it.

Do you mean this plug?????
Because i already tested the wires and found that the violet/white and the yellow to get the same reading.
But i haven't tested it yet

Yes, that plug. You need the pink wire though. That's what I have my tach driver hooked to that runs my RPM window switch on my nitrous kit.

Depends on what year car you have. The 96's to 99's have a Tach fuse in the fuse box under the hood where you can get a Tach signal. The 00's don't have that fuse, but you can connect directly to the C2 Pin 10 connector on the ECU for a full tach signal.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!

its not a fuse... just a open pin... its also pin10 on the black conector @ the ECM. No need to spend $50
