Do any of you use this
and if so why do you have it
that looks like the weaponR one ive seen, although, there probably isnt much difference between theirs and anyone else's billet aluminum catch tank. Usually their just used for looks, but alot of those are usually good for heat dissapation too
We use it to stay legal in some states. When you redirect your PCV valve hose to other then your intake track to get rid os spent gases, your break some emission laws. In those spent gases is a little bit of oil. Do you really want oil in your intake and intake manifold? many of us dont. So what you do is make or buy a catch can. Plumb your PCV valve to the can then the other side to your intake. This prevents oil from entering your intake and Intake manifold but lets spent gases flow by to be burned again.
Also catch cans are required at most tracks to keep the track free of water, coolent, oil, and what ever else you might be leaking.

Wow that is completely wrong.
In JBodies cases, an oil catch can is a great idea to use for the crankcase ventillation, and the PCV system for jbodies.
An excessive amount of crankcase pressure builds up and cause to push oil out the air/oil seperator., but with the right work and adding a catch can you can solve this, it also involves some work on the head as there is a port directly in the middle of the 2nd and 3rd ports.
Or you could simply use a fuel filter inline with the PCV valve.
