I have a chance to get an eco for a very Very low price... But i dont know about one thing. Can you swap it into a 96 that had a 2.2 mated to a five speed?

Yes you can swap it, but you need a lot more than just the motor. You need tranny, engine bay wiring, fuel lines, fuel tank, inside wiring, ECU, BCM etc... You will have to change the tranny mounts as well. There is plenty of info on here on how to do the swap.
