Injector Question
Thursday, April 06, 2006 9:35 PM
I have a 97 2.4l and I was wondering how well, if at all, the rc 320cc injectors will run with the stock ecu? I have a rebuilt engine, and I will be running nitrous, just wondering if the injectors will run smoothly or not. Thanks

you have a 97 2.4, don't use the Rc injectors. They need to be low impedence.

Use a set of Ho injectors from the yard. They are 32lbs and are alot cheaper than Rc. They are a direct swap.

^ RC makes low impedance injectors.

What are your mods? Chances are with bolt ons, you don't need bigger injectors, the stock ones run the car pretty rich.

Good to know but I wasn't saying that because of the impedence. Rc injectors will run around 250-300$? Ho injectors cost at max 100$ at the junk yard.

It has been proven to be a direct swap for the 96-mid 99 2.4 and that it was running fine with those injectors.
