i've got a 2.2l ECOtec engine and i'm in the process of removing the crank case due to a crack in it. i was wondering if there are any mods/bolt ons that would be easier to do before i reassemble the engine and get it ready to be installed? i'm also planning to either tubo or supercharge this engine later on. haven't decided which one yet. is there anything that i can do now to get it ready for boost?

the next question is a general question but i thought i'd ask here anyways since i'm making a post. will a 2k+ 2200 engine fit on a pre 2k tranny?
