Is that the same as the 2.4 LD9 mount? Think i'll be interested in that one, ive got the insert now, but she still rocks just a little (about 1/2")
With all the other mounts being OEM and just our mount the engine moves less than 1/8"
The 2.4 mount is different but is being designed. We also offer these in an array of colors, including the mount bushing color of red, blue, and black. Look at the ecotec Turbo Tech Racing mount forum post, on page 4 you will see many examples of colors we offer.
We are also going to offer 2 bushing grades, a "Sport" and a "Race" version, right now all the mounts are being sold as "Sport"
The Sport offers a less cabin vibrations than the Race. So this gives you the option to have the performance increase with the sport without the vibrations.
The Race will give more vibrations, but will be more firm, even less engine movement, if any.

The 2.4L mounts will be closer to the the price of the ecotec we believe. The 2.2 OHV mount has a lot more material to it as it bolts to the engine so much higher.

There is not a weight reduction. Yet there isnt to much of an increase, maybe 2 pounds more. We looked at it as more of a performance and strength stand point.

We've waited this long for a full replacement, we can wait a little bit longer for some more RnD.
how easy is it to install the full replacement? do you just support the engine while you take the old one out and put this in?

Yeah, when we test fit the mount, we put a jack under the lower engine mount to support it.
Install took about 15 minutes. Really simple and we will include a step by step install sheet, and torque specs.

well yea i figured you need the jack to support it but i just was wondering if that was good enough since the whole mount is coming off, whereas when you put the insert is you just take that metal piece off and the mount is still bolted to the engine.
as long as its easy like the insert, then looks like im gonna have to get one when i get some funds
Can we pre order a mount with the race bushing in advance? If we can I will place an order asap.

whats advantage of this over insert?
its a whole mount , and made to give a little less vibrations inside , as well as to fuction alot better
worth 125 dollars though? i mean i already have the insert...
well that is kinda hard to say
but if you get alot of vibes inside then , turbo techs should not be as bad inside
plus their's look alot prettier
