Just installed new megan racing cat-back from ebay, I have a 1998 cavalier z24, the kit has the braket for the 99-up cavaliers, so what can i do to get it from not moving around down there?

the only braket holding the system tight is the muffler L-shaped braket, how can i get the middle section to tuck up and stay put.

I had to do this when I put a resonator on my exhaust. I welded a flat piece of t-bar to the bottom of the exhaust pipe and a piece of t-bar to the bottom of the car(making sure not to burn your carpet), both somwhere between the flange after the cat and the first bend in the exhaust. Then take an exhaust hanger from a S-10 or Sonoma and slide it onto both peices of t-bar. Or you could be smart unlike me and take it to a auto service shop and ask them to fabricate somthing. I can upload some pics. if you want to see it.

or you could just got to the dealership, buy the 99+ hanger for 14 bucks, and install it with a short bolt, nut, and a couple of washers.

had to do it on my friends '98 Z, it worked out perfectly.
