I finally got my new clutch disk and pressure plate from "McLeod". I spent almost 2 hours on the phone about a month ago with several diff. clutch companies. When I got on the phone with McLeod, they transferred me straight to one of there guys in there race department. I was on the phone with him for almost 45 minutes telling him exactly what I wanted and this is what he came up with.....
HE told me that they really don't carry a kit for the Jbody but he talked to the people there that makes the parts and they put this all together!! All made to specs when I ordered it!!! He told me that with this setup, with an an oem T.O. bearing and slave cylinder, should be good for up to around 300hp! I may or may not ever hit 300hp, but it is nice to know that it is there in case I ever do after I hit my motor with the bottle next spring!!
