Can someone please tell me an alternative place to get a performance head other then Manapart??

I don't think anyone makes performance heads (I could be wrong) But if you just got some port+polish done, I'm sure you'd be good.

take your head off...most the work can be done at a machine shop, or if you have the right machines and tools u can do it yourself.

have them disasemble and hot tank it and magnaflux it (cleans it up to brand new standards and checks for cracks)
have them deck it .010 (little bit more compression and gives the new head gasket a nice new surface to seal) (u can go up to .020 but i wouldnt recomend it-the stock valves come dangerously close to hitting the head as it is)
-both of which should run around $100-150

you can get stock or 1mm and or 2mm oversized stainless steel valves from carcustoms.net (usually seats better in the head seats and flow a little better than stock (dont expect too much from these tho)
-i believe they are around $300 for a set

you can get bronze valve guides from jbodyperformance.com (helps the valves from sticking and are stronger and more resistant to wear)

port and polish-idk too much about ive never done it....but i know that the stock 2.4 runners are pathetic-you can port the exhuast side out MASSIVLY and it would help a bunch, as far as the intake side-depends on what intake manifold you wanna use-just have them port match it to the intake.

buy a fel-pro head gasket and fel-pro valve seals and you should be good to go, with maybe a 10hp gain.
if you go ahead and buy the jbodyperformance.com cams and springs and other various valve train items you will be a very happy person with a very livend up z24.

and oh yeah i forgot to add-

have the shop grind and polish up the new valves and grind the head valve seats (usually 3 angle lapped in job does nicely)
