Well i bought a bill's&stan's 2.4l header from a j-body member with out a down pipe so.
I think iam going to make my own down pipe but dont know if ( COOP ) will have a flare for the ball joint for on the bottum of the header.
It needs to be a pretty smooth flare so i just dont know if a exhaust shop would be able to flare it smooth enough to seal with out leaking.
Any one know where i could get two 2 1/4" ball joint connectors ????
i hope you know what i mean by ball joint connectors. Ill be stoping buy my local exhaust shop tomaro just thought i would ask.

The collectors on most aftermarket headers are way too short and the ball and socket connectors restrict the flow alot worse than many think. I'd reccomend you get some bends and collector from
Headers By Ed and install a flex pipe for far greater flow. Depending upon the angle and location of the collector on the header you have, you'll have to cut the collector off and weld the collector and/or extension/ bend in place to fit. You'll get the best results if you get them TIG welded.
