i have a 95 cavy with the 2.3, i know all about these cams going into a 2.4, but is there any thing i can do to the cams in my 2.3, i read that if you advance the intake 2 degrees, and retard the exhaust 2 degrees, that will help. but idk what sprockets i can use to degree it. or what all i can do. any help or advice, would be appretiated.
Since you have a manual, you can get a set of Ho cams. It would help you alot.
It's not worth it to degree the 95 cams. There's not enough to gain. the 2A Int 2R Exhaust is for the W41 cams.
You had to buy a set of cam gears at Gm to do it.

Hey Gilles how would HO cams run in a 2000 Z24 with a ported head,HO intake, header and catback?
Also where can I get the LGO balancer from?
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
They would run a bit rougher on idle. They need to be modified to resemble the 2.4 cams (Ps Hex and sensor) to run like a 2.4 cam. The peak power is at 6200rpm so it's in the 2.4 ecm limit.
They would really show improvement with breathing mods.
The ONLY good LGO pulley is from 90-91 Ho's. Later years had the same pulley as the LD2 (Lo)
You can find Ho's in GA, Calais, Gtz.
