I was thinking about upgrading my air intakes but im a little confused about what is the difference between a Short Ram intake and a cold air intake?

Search....there are so many diff posts about this already....and they go into much detail (but a quick tip.....the only difference from a CAI and warm ram is 2 degrees.........yea not much, i suggest warm air/short ram w/e u call it. its more of a straight shot the the TB) So thats my two cents, but plz search first off......
