I have a 96 Z 5 speed. I decided to start building up a head and tore one down today. Everything came apart easy except i cant get the valve guilds to slide back through. How do you guys get your guilds to come out, is there a special tool that i dont know about? Thanks

the valve guide stem seals are pressed in.. to remove them you need a drillpress and the correct size reamer to cut the stem seals out ..
unless you have the proper tools and knowhow back away from the head and take it to a machine shop
no need to bump after 2 hours either

think what you want dude. making posts to bump threads is a no no around here. and make enough of them can get you a warning or banned from here for an X amount of time. excuse me for trying to help you
