Pacesetter For 99'
Tuesday, May 01, 2007 9:21 PM
Got a 99' Base Model Cavalier
Getting ready to buy pacesetter header for my car.
What would be the best thing to do?
Do High flow cat from magnaflow first or header from pacesetter first?
What would be better?
I have a cat back custom 2.5 in. system on right now along with a custom made cold air intake.
Looking for better horsepower. Need more speed.
Thanks.

well do it all..your only going to flow as well as the smallest part of your exhaust..that bieng said 2.5" is a bit big on the ol 2.2 unless you plan on turboing it soon..2.25" is about as big as you should go..phil

yea...i was gonna turbo it in the next few months... you can only run so much horse without one....just doing little things right now...i want to eventually get it done...yea i typoed earlier, i do have a 2.25 on it. Found a good deal for pacesetter and cat from magnaflow. how's $175 sound for both together?
