I'm wanting to get an exhaust set up for my car but I'm not sure what to buy? I know the Ractive 610's are nice but I was looking for something not as big, I want a muffler that is similar to my 01 factory set up, but also I want something with a muscel car sound, any ideas?
You are lacking 4 cylinders which will make it impossible to sound like a "muscle car"

to get the deep rumble your looking for i would go with a 2 1/4 inch exhaust piping, magnaflow 24 inch resonator, magnaflow high flow cat with a dyno max super turbo muffler. it will be pretty quiet at idle but rumble real good when you romp on it. thats just my $.02
I've heard a 2.4 with a low tone, not nessarily a rumble, but low enough that it made you want it.
559Cavalier had a Hayame exhaust that sounded like that..

IMHO (I may get flamed hard for this) it's impossible to make a 4 cylinder sound really good. Almost every exhaust I've heard to date has a HUGE fart cannon noise, and sounds like a giant wet fart. I have maybe heard 1 or 2 that were really nice, but the rest were just rather obnoxious. That V8 sound is absolutely amazing... but you are lacking 4 cylinders.
My first car was an 81 Camaro with headers, straight pipes, and 2 cherry bombs, dumped at the axle... that thing was LOUD. You'll never get the same note out of a 4 banger no matter how hard you try... back to the original Q... Go with as big a resonator you can to keep the tone down, and Ractive is a crappy Canadian Tire brand from my understanding, also they're launching a new "stealth" series which I believe will be quieter, and tone down the can of bees noise if you really want to go with ractive.
There will always be someone faster than you, but thousands slower and dumber than you.
im not lying but my buddy has one of the best sounding hondas i have ever heard he has a full Greddy exhaust header and all and it sounds amazing
