Yeah I have never used foam spray, but carb cleaner is great. Take the TB off the car and spray the carb cleaner on it, in it and get all the black off.

lol its the throttle body and intake cleaner sold at auto zone i havent used it yet i didnt get a chance to today ill try and do it tomorrow

If it is seafoam in the white bottle, then you can just suck it in through one of the vacuum lines going to the intake manifold. Any rubber hose that goes into the intake after the throttle body will work. As you suck it in, you'll need to rev the engine to keep it from stalling. Then, enjoy the HUGE cloud behind the car. haha, love that part.
i used throttle body cleaner to clean the whole engine,..does a good job to restore shine,..
