what is the different between the rksport lower motor mount and the turbotechracing lower motor mount, because there at two very different cost. has anyone every try the one from turbotechracing
The RK Sport/Prothane is a steel housing mount with round bushings.
We "Turbo Tech Racing" recently created a machined 6061 T6 aluminum mount, that utilized custom Oval bushings that has less vibrations that the steel on, yet it keeps the engine from moving. It also weighs less.

i was the tester for them, for their lower mount, HANDS DOWN better than the RK, like he said, lighter, and the bushing shaping allows for less vibrations. plus some very nice different colors are available since ttr powdercoats stuff to pretty much any color you want. Go with the TTR, you wont be dissapointed
I'll definitely be trading my RK Sport mount in for the TTR mount when funds allow.

From what I've read, when I have appropriate disposable funding, I will be going with a TTR upper and lower mount.

thats just it, TTR owns the j-body mount market. i cant wait to FINALLY buy myself the auto mount and the aluminum lower mount. im hoping the added vibes from the auto mount get toned down with the addition of the lower. they're quality is second to none.
but, the rk sport mount is indeed a very good mount, it definatly gets the job done. if you dont mind vibrations (which IMO arent that bad at all really). i had the rk on both my 5spd car and now on my auto car and it helped. its up to you which one you would like to go with, but TTR is definatly where its at and wheres it going to be at for a long time to come.
