I was wondering where I could go to get secret cam's for a 95 cavy with 2.3L I have to rebuild the head neways so my aswell get better cams for it too... I would greatly appreciate the help..
lol.
You need a 90-94 2.3L Quad4 LO exhaust cam. You already have the "secret" intake cam.

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
LOL yea..the 1995 intake cam is half the swap..now all you need is the exhaust cam lol ..
oh ok I just been hearing about all this secret cam @!#$ so I didn't really know. thank you for your help
yea..that swap is for 2.4s..you have a 2.3 both your cams are actually larger than the 2.4 cams..so unless you want a hair more outta your exhaust i wouldnt bother unless you wanna use HO cams or higher
go out, open your hood and look in the center of the intake cam tower...
is there a sensor plugged into the center of it?

Only autos will have the cam sensor. Manuals have the casting to use the sensor, but no hole is drilled out. However, both autos and manuals use the same cams.

yes , but if the car is a manual you can use 90-94 LO, or HO cams. HO's may require some chip work to get the full power.
if you want to make a little more power from your LO 95, replace the exhaust cam, that one sucks.
relace the intake with a HO intake, and most importantly get rid of that exhaust manifold, get a HO of a 90-92(this will require a diffrent down pipe)
your head can use alot of work too.
if you need soem 2.3 parts, gaskets

oh, ditch the balance shafts, install the 89-94 oil pump(I have a new one, and all the windage tray stuff)
HAHA ..ok for one if he uses the HO intake cam hell lose his power steering, dont forget to tell him that...
SECOND if his is a 95 z and is MANUAL forget all that "balance shaft and oil pump" crap and just go get the 90-92 HO engine and drop it in!! itll bolt right up and even run !! there ya go 30 extra hp!
he can swap 90-94 P/S in if he wanted, as far as dropping in a 90-94LGO. that is a good idea, but he said he was rebuilding this one. to me that means he doesn't want a JY used engine.
but if he does want to swap out, I have a 92 SCX 10-1 short block with less then 1000 miles on it (sold the car) that has been holding my garage floor down.
with a good price that sounds like a good start ^^

your the one that got the pump on ebay for 30$ bin. i saw it first but since i'm in canada, i asked how much would be shipping. i told myself, screw that, i'll buy it anyway since it was damn cheap for a new pump and when i got out of the shower to go buy it, you already did!!!

thats good to know brian. i didnt know that... i once bought a 95 intake cam that cam in the tower and it had the pad and everything to run the cps but it wasnt drilled just like you described and always wondered what the deal was. the cam also had the lobe machined on it to run the sensor.
i always figured it was a early 95 thing.
My cavy is a 95 with 2.3 and it is manual.... I was also looking for a short throw shifter can anyone help me out with that too? cuz I got this car for $500 all that was wrong with it was it needed a new clutch disk and the head needs to be rebuilt...
good deal on the car! and good call on the manual tranny...i still suggest the HO swap and 93-94 getrag tranny
