New Griffin Products Feeler

Ok guys. I’m here to gauge interest in a few more products that I’m thinking about selling for Griffin. Please let me know what you think about these products. These will be set-up on a GP basis (just like I have been doing the Griffin radiators for the J for quite sometime) in order to bring you the lowest price’s possible. So here are some pictures and product information.

First thing is the Griffin Aluminum surge tank. These are heavy-duty aluminum surge tanks that can be mount to your fender well, fire wall, or wherever you see fit. They are made with a 7”x7” mounting plate as shown in the picture below. Tank size is 5 ½” round x 2 3/8” deep. These are offered in left and right hand fill.

The next product is the Griffin overflow tanks. These tanks are polished stainless steel. They come with mounting brackets (as shown in picture below) for a universal fit, and also a screw on style cap. They come in 3 sizes to best suite your application. Sizes are 2”x13”, 2”x15”, and 2”x19”.

Just let me know what you guys think of these. Thanks

Scott Bledsoe

I'd be in for either or even both.
Some better pictures of the two would be nice.
Or, if we could see some pics of some of this installed, would also be nice.
But I'm definitely interested in this, especially with the plans I have for the Cav.

I would be interested if it would work as a bolt on part for our overflow tank. (Obviously not DIRECTLY bolting in....but you get the idea...)

i'd be down for a surge tank. Basicly its the same thing thats in our cars already just smaller, and nicer looking.

no care bout the size or mounting.. but if it is something that will goes with the hosing of the stock overflow and sensor plug in, then I won't have to fab up my own.

Ok, guys. I have desided, if you want any of these products, please pm me and we will do them on a single order basis. Prices are the same, plus shipping.

Im also working on another surgetank design that will be a oem replacement for the Cavalier or Sunfire overflow tank. Will have the same capas and function as oem, although made of aluminum and different shape than oem. Should have info on that very soon.

This is what I'm waiting for.
So update us on when this will be done and you also need to consider that some of us would like to be able to use AN lines to this tank if possible.
Will this unit be available for AN lines?
I'm tired of using rubber hoses with clamps and vowed that I'll have the entire engine bay using AN lines where possible.
Please take this into consideration for those of us that will be going this route.
Thanks.

Ill help you out.

Surge tank: Tank to catch any overflow of fluids as to not drop them on the track. Could be fuel, oil, tranny fluid, coolant; just what ever your needs may be

Overflow tank: Made to catch execess coolant and store until needed by the radiator.

Hope that helps.

Already taken sensor into consideration.

I should be able to get AN fittings, but ofcourse they will be at extra cost.

Ill keep you guys posted

I'm in if it uses AN fittings, cost doesn't matter. Been trying to get one done myself and it just isn't going to work out....too much sh..t to do.
