2.3L manifold and 68mm TB, running rich??

Okay, this is basically a question before i go out and buy a new IAC for my car. but i recycled my IAC from my 2.4L TB, and i think that is what is making my car stall when i go in reverse, and makes it run rich. I am throwing a p0138 code, which is im running rich, but i thought with more air getting in i would lean out.

Should i buy a new IAC, and a wideband? Thoughts?

Use the sensors from the same throttle body your using. IE use 2.3 sensors on the 2.3 throttle body.

Looking at your registry you definitely have mods (bigger injectors) that I don't see as being exactly necessary that would cause the same problem. Unless you've gotten it tuned and just not put that in your reg. entry I'd go back to stock injectors until its tuned.

Check for vac leaks too.

68mm TB? You mean 56mm?

I forgot to take off the injectors from my reg :-( I installed them, and my car was running so rough with black smoke and stuff. No need for larger injectors yet. So i put my old ones back in.

As for the sensors, when i bought the TB, it had none of the sensors other than the TPS, so i had to move over the IAC from the 2.4 to get it to run. But ill def look into the IAC from the 2.3.

And it is a 62mm, i bored it out at the machine shop i worked at.
But i do realize now that i wrote 68, my bad. hahahahaha

Could this def be the reason as to why it's running rich?
